CIVIL ENGINEER, EI – INDUSTRIAL & LOGISTICS

EMH&T is currently seeking a Civil Engineer (EI) to join our Industrial & Logistics team located in Columbus, OH.

Our EIs work under the guidance of experienced Engineers and Project Managers who provide mentorship and support throughout your career development. Additionally, EMH&T offers a dedicated support team to train you on our drafting and design standards, ensuring you are well-prepared for success in this role.

The Industrial & Logistics team supports rail clients, trucking facilities, pump stations, lumber yards, car dealerships, medical campuses, single-family home projects and more.

Responsibilities

• Develop plan drawings and calculations using AutoCAD Civil 3D and/or MicroStation/OpenRoads for projects such as sanitary systems, stormwater management, roadway design.
• Produce base maps for plan development, generate 3D surface models, corridors, profiles, and cross-sections, as well as perform drafting tasks.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering.
• 0 – 4 years experience.

Work experience, including internships or co-op experiences in civil, construction, or a related area and exposure to engineering consulting firm environment, preferred.
