Summary
EMH&T is currently looking for a site civil Engineer/Engineer Intern to join our Development I division. You will work under the direction and mentorship of a seasoned Engineer or Project Manager, PE to provide innovative, creative and safe solutions through design support for residential land-site development projects, from conception to completion. You will create drawings utilizing AutoCAD and perform basic engineering calculations on assigned portions of multiple projects; begin to apply engineering education to practical design solutions; assist in plan production tasks, including base mapping, modeling, and detailing; coordinate, communicate and adhere to company and division processes, procedures, standards and the promotion of company culture and core values; and other responsibilities as assigned.
Qualifications
Qualified candidates will have a Bachelor's degree in civil engineering; and up to one year of work experience. Prior internship or co-op experience in civil, construction, or a related area is preferred. Exposure to an engineering consulting firm environment, preferred. Some exposure to AutoCAD or similar software to develop work plans and proficiency with Microsoft Excel and Word, preferred.
