Summary

If you're a passionate and motivated individual looking to kickstart your career as a Civil Engineer, we want you to join our Transportation Partnerships team. We are currently seeking a highly talented entry-level Civil Engineer who will work closely with experienced engineers and professionals who will mentor and guide you throughout your career development. You will work under the mentorship of a Project Manager and provide design support for transportation-related projects including roadway, streets, roundabouts, sidewalks, streetscape improvements, shared-use paths, and bikepaths. You will create project designs from conception to completion, including geometrics design, typical section development, drainage analysis, and utility design in accordance with local, state, and federal standards. Plan production tasks will include basemapping, creating three-dimensional surface models, corridors, profiles, and cross sections. Additional engineering tasks will include pavement design calculations, stormwater calculations, writing reports, and preparing cost opinions.
This person will work in a team-focused environment with frequent communication with team members, other engineering disciplines, and review agencies.
Qualifications
Qualifications include bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering; experience with AutoCAD, Autodesk Civil 3D, and other design/drafting software is a plus; must be familiar with Microsoft Word, Outlook and Excel; strong knowledge of civil engineering principles and practices; excellent problem-solving and analytical skills; effective communication and teamwork skills; ability to work independently and within a team environment; and eager to learn and grow in a collaborative environment.
