Summary

EMH&T is seeking an Urban Planner to collaborate with multiple EMH&T divisions to design, support, and manage public and private sector projects focused on community planning, comprehensive plans, mobility/transportation planning, corridor studies, and recreation planning. The Urban Planner will participate in complex planning studies, thoroughfare planning, urban design conceptual planning, and development applications and reviews. You will work with our team to strategize the transportation components of projects including traffic capacity analysis, multi-modal considerations, and safety improvement initiatives. Your strategic vision will help direct projects from a big picture perspective while managing details around technical planning concepts. Responsibilities include developing strategies that address current and future needs of communities, end users, and development projects.

Qualifications

Qualified candidates will have a Bachelor's degree from an accredited program. Master's degree is a bonus, but not a prerequisite. Individuals with experience in Urban Planning or Transportation Planning are encouraged to apply.
